If you host your own website and would like to make some money from it, Clickbank, Amazon, and Google Adsense are all ready to help you out. In the age of internet marketing, a little space on your web page is all it takes to generate some extra dollars. Affiliate marketing is the name of the game, and if you are ready to play, here are the rules:

How To Join Clickbank, Amazon, And Google Adsense

  • Make space on your website, or if you don’t have one, set up a blog of your own at any one of the free blog hosts like Blogger or Wordpress.
  • Work at improving your website until you attract a good number of visitors per day. Remember, making money requires customers; generating traffic is the first step.
  • Sign up with Clickbank as an affiliate marketer. There are no charges for signing up, so you can make the most of a good opportunity by also signing up with other affiliate marketplaces like Google’s Adsense and Amazon.
  • Go to Clickbank and search their directory for suitable products to promote. Since there are thousands of digital products for sale, you can afford to be selective about the products you choose to promote.
  • Similarly, for Amazon, go to a specific category and choose your products to promote
  • Once you have chosen the products to promote, set up your affiliate link, and insert them at a suitable location on your website. Contextual links are more subtle and often work better to attract customers without annoying people who don’t want to shop.

Maximizing Your Earnings

Once you’ve done all the above, all you have to do now is promote your website and write some product reviews. You won’t grow rich overnight, but you can make a tidy sum with very little effort. Clickbank vendors will pay you a commission at rates of their own, choosing for each link from your website that results in a sale. You can maximize your earnings by doing a bit of research before choosing the products to promote.

The sales figures and statistics are all there in Clickbank’s database, so all you need to do is look to find out which products are more in demand at the moment. Similarly, for Amazon, you can choose to promote bestselling books rather than some obscure titles, which may not sell. The key is to strike a balance between how you want your website to look, generating traffic, and promoting the right products.
